US Evolve Saddle Fitting Guide

Congratulations on purchasing the next generation saddle designed for in bicycle comfort! Before heading out, you will need to fit your new saddle. Although the US Evolve is one of the most revolutionary saddles on the market, it remains one of the simplest to fit. Please follow our simple step by step guide for trouble free fitting:

Fitting Guide

Out with the old, in with the new.

  1. Loosen your existing seat-post clamp and remove your existing saddle by the rails,
  2. Replace with your US Evolve and tighten (The base rails of the US Evolve are designed to simply replace your existing saddle).

Fine Tuning.

By now you should have noticed that fitting your US Evolve is pretty simple?!

In addition to simply fitting, it is time to make some minor adjustments to match your own individual posture and riding preferences:

  • Make a 80mm lowering to your existing seat pin level. Your rear should be up to the back of the saddle when seated.
  • The base rail should be attached to the seat-post approx. 10mm behind the bend.
  • There should be an approx. tilt of 12˚ from back to front.

Know Your Saddle.

Things to know and understand about your new US Evolve:

  • Once aboard, there should be a small bend in the leg with the ball of your toes on the pedals.
  • There should be an encouraging touch of feel from the opposing lever under your thigh.
  • The same balance between bar, height, reach, crank position, saddle height and angle is desirable as on a traditional saddle.

Patience.

The US Evolve allows you to benefit from increased blood flow in the groin area by reducing pressure on the pudenda, requiring a correctly balanced set-up to work the upper grip. This is a first for cycling, a first for you. As a result, it may take a little time to fine tune your new optimum position.
